What you will do here
- Strategically, personnel-wise and financially lead the Research HKB department with over 100 employees and work closely with the Research Council and Research Administration
- Participate in the strategic management of HKB as a member of the university management
- Contribute your expertise to research policy in the BFH Research Commission and in the steering committee of the joint doctoral program with the University of Bern
- Represent and network HKB research internally and externally
- Support and enable research projects – gladly your own as well
What you ideally bring with you
- PhD and experience in research management, preferably in the arts
- Proven leadership experience in managing interdisciplinary and diverse teams, preferably in the higher education or cultural sector
- Knowledge of the national and international research and art university landscape
- A pronounced curiosity for innovative research approaches as well as high social, entrepreneurial and communication skills
- Negotiation skills in German and English
