As an Accounts Payable Accountant (m/f/d), you will ensure the efficient and compliant execution of processes in the accounts payable area for the Straumann Group. In close cooperation with suppliers, business partners, and colleagues from various regions, you support accurate financial reporting, promote process excellence, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our financial processes. Your workplace is Freiburg im Breisgau. The position is limited to 2 years.
Your tasks:
- Independent processing and posting of incoming invoices (FI/MM) for European companies
- Verification of invoices for tax and formal accuracy
- Ensuring compliance with payment deadlines, handling dunning processes, as well as preparation and execution of payment runs
- Reconciliation of accounts payable and clarification of open items
- Monthly intercompany reconciliation
- Clarification of accounting issues with internal departments and international suppliers
- Support with monthly and annual financial statements
- Participation in the continuous optimisation of subsidiary accounting in coordination with the Accounting Services Europe department
Your profile:
- Completed commercial training or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience in accounts payable, ideally in an internationally operating company
- Confident handling of SAP FI/MM and MS Office, ideally experience with SAP S/4HANA
- Enjoyment of working in an international environment, willingness to learn new topics, and a proactive working style
- Team spirit, strong sense of responsibility, and very good communication skills
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
