The Vaud Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CVCI) brings together nearly 3,200 companies, representing one third of the private jobs in the Canton. A private law association, it draws its resources from member contributions, the sale of services, and various mandates.
The CVCI is notably active in social insurance funds, legal services, export certification, economic conditions, innovation, vocational training, networking, as well as support for companies, from SMEs to multinationals, of which it is a partner.
To ensure the development and sustainability of services to member companies, the CVCI is looking for its social insurance funds:

Role mission
Provide the entrusted benefits (in terms of family allowances) while respecting the legal framework they imply, in order to satisfy clients
Job description
- Ensure the follow-up of the service's benefits in terms of family allowances, respecting the applicable legal framework and according to the training received.
- Compile and manage beneficiary files.
- Decide on the granting, suspension or refusal of benefits, as well as the establishment of repayment decisions, based on federal legislation, current directives and cantonal schemes.
- Manage litigation regarding payment order enforcement in full or until the processing of the act of default of assets;
- Scan and process incoming mail.
- Prepare family allowance payments (at least once a month).
- Answer telephone calls as well as at the family allowance fund counter.
- Inform and advise member companies.
- Handle member complaints.
- Process family allowance grant notifications to be sent to the central register.
- Regularly update internal procedures (workflows).
- Perform daily tasks assigned according to the schedule.
- Carry out necessary IT tests during software updates.
- Actively participate in the service's life by proposing organisational improvements to be discussed as a team during service meetings.
Required profile for the position
- Commercial employee CFC or equivalent training;
- 3 years of experience in family allowance management;
- Strong interest in social insurance;
- Ability to work both in a team and independently;
- Ability to manage several files simultaneously and multitasking skills;
- Proficiency in common office tools;
- Knowledge of German and Italian is an asset;
- Comfort with numbers.
Start date: 1st September or to be agreed
