Tasks
- As a safety officer, you are the central contact person for physical safety, occupational safety and health protection, fire protection, as well as patient safety (excluding medical aspects)
- You support and advise managers, clinic management and specialist departments on safety issues and ensure the implementation of necessary measures
- The further development of safety, emergency and incident organisation according to legal requirements and the H+ industry solution, as well as the maintenance of the safety manual, are part of your responsibilities
- You analyse, document and assess hazards and risks within the framework of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and derive appropriate measures from them
- You plan and coordinate training, instructions and awareness-raising measures, thereby promoting a sustainable safety culture
- You ensure and further develop safety concepts, fire protection regulations, escape and rescue routes, as well as safety-technical systems
- As a contact person, you coordinate cooperation with authorities, external partners, contractors and the commander of the company fire brigade
- The topics of locking and access systems, reporting, safety measures and participation in budgeting also belong to your area of responsibility
- With your expertise, you contribute to occupational health management and other specialist committees
Profile
- You have a technical or commercial basic education as well as completed further training as a safety specialist EKAS
- Ideally, you have further training or certification in the field of fire protection (VKF)
- You have several years of experience as a safety officer, preferably in an SME environment and ideally in healthcare
- Experience in project management as well as knowledge in property protection, locking and alarm systems are advantageous
- Your high social competence, communication skills and assertiveness help you to convince different stakeholders
- You convey complex technical topics clearly and appear confident and professional even in demanding situations
- Networked thinking, an independent working style and a solution-oriented approach to challenges are among your strengths
- You keep an overview and act calmly even in crisis situations
- Very good MS Office skills, very good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as good oral French skills complete your profile
- Occasional travel to Sion as well as assignments outside regular working hours in emergency situations are natural for you
Safety needs people who take responsibility. In this versatile key role, you actively shape the clinic's safety organisation and ensure that occupational safety, health protection, fire protection and physical safety are effectively implemented in everyday clinical practice. In doing so, you work closely with managers, clinic management as well as internal and external partners and make an important contribution to a safe environment for employees and patients.
