Your Tasks

The ARA Hard makes a central contribution to water protection in the Winterthur region. Over the next 15 years, the ARA will be expanded for the coming decades. As an Operations Assistant, you will contribute important services in the ongoing operation and further development of the ARA Hard. In your new position, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

Project work daily operations: Development and implementation of optimisation projects as well as process engineering support and coordination in major projects; support of the strategic orientation of the treatment plant.
Project work major projects: Process engineering support for project management and participation in process engineering planning committees.
Process engineering support and development: Further development of plant automation, data systems and analysis tools as well as conducting extraordinary measurement campaigns. Preparation and editing of functional descriptions.
Operational data analysis: Regular analysis and evaluation of operational data with changing focus as well as year-end analysis and continuous improvement process (CIP) in cooperation with the department management.
Quality management (QMS): Documentation and standardisation of process engineering and administrative procedures with a focus on automation and process engineering.

Your Profile

You have a qualification at HF level in mechanical engineering, energy, electrical, process or construction engineering. Alternatively, you have further specialised in project management after your training as a wastewater treatment specialist with a federal certificate of competence.
You have a flair for analytical work and IT applications.
You can communicate and document your results appropriately for the level.
