About the job
The Cherpillod Foundation, recognised as a public utility, is active in prevention, social support and youth participation, as well as the protection and social and professional integration of children, adolescents, young adults and their families. It ensures the community dimension of its actions and operates through open-environment structures. The 50 employees of the Foundation are daily on the ground – in Broye, Gros-de-Vaud and Orbe – to create the conditions for young people to find their place in society, participate in their own way and flourish there.
To ensure centralised and professional management of the 6 buildings as well as the 15 different locations used by the Cherpillod Foundation for the exercise of its missions, we are creating this new position and are looking, for a date to be agreed:
An experienced property manager at 80% – permanent contract
Your missions
- Ensure the operational, technical, administrative and rental management of the buildings belonging to the Foundation for the management of the Cherpillod real estate assets (FGPIC).
- Ensure the technical follow-up of premises rented and used by the Cherpillod Foundation and coordinate relations with management companies.
- Identify maintenance, renovation or transformation needs and keep a short, medium and long-term plan up to date.
- Prepare maintenance or renovation files, establish technical and financial analyses and make recommendations.
- Request, analyse and compare offers, then oversee the work ensuring respect for deadlines, quality and budgets.
- Read and interpret building regulations as well as technical or construction files useful for projects.
- Unite the various internal and external stakeholders and advance projects until their completion.
- Ensure or coordinate concierge, caretaking, routine maintenance and installation monitoring activities.
- Coordinate tasks that may be assigned to the SeMo Building Management and Technical sub-workshop.
- Ensure rental follow-up of FGPIC buildings: visits, inventories, keys, tenant requests and coordination between rentals.
- Contribute to the monitoring of rents, charges, invoices and maintenance costs in coordination with central administration.
- Participate in the conservation, optimisation and enhancement of the FGPIC real estate assets.
Your profile
- Federal VET Diploma in a technical building, construction, maintenance field; caretaking is a plus, or equivalent training.
- Additional training in property management, building technology or project management is an asset.
- Knowledge of tenancy law.
- Proven experience in technical building management, maintenance, renovations or property management.
- Experience in preparing and monitoring work files, requesting offers, financial analysis and coordinating service providers.
- Good knowledge of building techniques and ability to understand a construction file.
- Ability to read and interpret building regulations.
- Good administrative skills and proficiency in common IT tools.
- Excellent command of French, both spoken and written.
