Head of Order Picking

The Institute for Hospital Pharmacy ensures the pharmaceutical supply for the entire Insel Group 365 days a year, around the clock. Medicines are procured both domestically and internationally and produced in the in-house production department. We are also the contact point for all specialist questions regarding medicines.

What to expect

• Professional and disciplinary leadership of six employees
• Active participation in order picking and support of the team in daily operations
• Ensuring the correct and timely provision of medicines
• Ensuring compliance with workflows, quality standards, and storage regulations
• Support with SAP queries as well as operation and handling of the order picking machine
• Participation in the further development and optimisation of processes
• Identifying improvement potentials and contributing practical solution proposals

What you bring

• Completed training in logistics, ideally as a logistics specialist with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ)
• Further training as a logistics specialist with a Federal Certificate or a comparable, federally recognised qualification in logistics/processes
• If the certificate is not yet available: willingness to begin the corresponding further training within one to two years after starting the position
• Enjoyment in professional and disciplinary leadership of employees
• Willingness to actively contribute in daily operations while taking on responsibility as a manager
• Independent, reliable, and solution-oriented working style
• Good SAP knowledge and technical understanding are advantageous
