The Centre for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Outpatient (Centre Director Dr med Katrin Hanno) is part of the Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (Clinic Director Prof Dr med Marc Walter). With its five locations (Aarau, Baden, Rheinfelden, Wohlen and Zofingen), it offers local psychiatric care for the population in the canton of Aargau. The centre includes four outpatient clinics with specialist consultations, group therapies and work coaching as well as four day centres where adult patients are treated. In addition, the centre comprises the two day clinics in Aarau and Baden as well as the "Practice for Your Mental Health" in Zofingen.

Profile

• You have completed a degree in psychology and are in advanced or completed psychotherapy training
• You bring at least four years of clinical experience in psychiatry and psychotherapy
• Ideally, you have an additional qualification, for example in DBT or another recognised psychotherapy method
• You speak German as your mother tongue or have an existing language certificate at level C1
• You are interested in the treatment of people with addiction disorders and comorbid mental illnesses
• You work with commitment, independently and confidently in decision-making
• You organise skilfully, communicate clearly and enjoy working interdisciplinarily

Tasks

• You treat outpatients with addiction disorders and comorbid mental illnesses under senior physician supervision
• You conduct psychiatric-psychotherapeutic assessments, diagnose according to guidelines and use common manuals and test procedures
• You prepare treatment documentation and specialist reports under senior physician supervision
• Ideally, you participate in projects of the centre
