You are familiar with IT systems and want to apply your knowledge specifically in the field of Cyber Security? For our client, an established IT service provider, we are looking for a technically skilled individual who investigates security incidents and implements protective measures independently. The position combines working with modern Microsoft environments, varied customer projects, and the further development of security solutions.
- You examine unusual system activities, analyse possible attacks, and assist in resolving security incidents
- You identify vulnerabilities in systems and permissions, prioritise measures, and monitor their effectiveness
- You manage a security platform, investigate technical errors, and collaborate with development on improvements
- You optimise rules for attack detection and simplify recurring analysis tasks through automation
- You prepare investigation results in an understandable way and advise customers on the next steps
- Good knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365
- Understanding of the interaction between networks, user identities, and IT infrastructures
- Initial practical experience with system hardening, endpoint security, permission management, or the investigation of security alerts
- Knowledge of Microsoft Defender XDR, Sentinel, PowerShell, or KQL is welcome
- Enjoyment of customer contact and the ability to explain technical matters clearly

Tasks
- You implement security solutions in local and cloud-based customer environments and accompany projects from requirements gathering to handover- You examine unusual system activities, analyse possible attacks, and assist in resolving security incidents

Profile
- IT training or comparable qualification as well as practical experience in system engineering or IT security- Good knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365
