Exciting tasks await:
- You will support Statistics Aargau in creating, maintaining and documenting the internal codebase in R.
- You will contribute your interest in technical issues by participating in projects.
- You will assist in the implementation and introduction of the cantonal metadata catalogue.
- You will respond to enquiries about statistical data, coordinate their response with the responsible specialists and support data communication.
What you bring:
- University or university of applied sciences degree at Bachelor or Master level
- Good knowledge of the R programming language (for example R package development, Shiny or Quarto); knowledge of Git and SQL is an advantage
- Openness to new technologies as well as motivation to actively improve existing processes
- Experience in handling statistical data as well as interest in their preparation and communication
- High initiative, enjoyment of independent work and strong team skills
