In this central role, you ensure the operational coordination of the theatre’s activity and actively contribute to smooth processes, optimal use of resources and quality of care.

Operating Theatre Coordinator, 30%
- Coordinate the daily schedule of the operating programme.
- Manage changes to the programme during the day and inform the affected operating theatres and staff.
- Schedule emergencies according to their priority.
- Coordinate the interfaces between the operating theatre and the various clinics.
- Mutual cover with the current operating coordinator.
- Coordinate the programme’s conclusion and the transition to on-call duty.
- Act as contact person for hospital departments outside the operating theatre.
- Ensure optimal use of available rooms and resources.
- Monitor usage times and contribute to improving the efficiency of the operating theatre.
- Identify and reduce inefficient workflows.
- Ensure compliance with procedures, especially regarding hygiene and patient safety.
- Control the quality of documentation of the various phases of the operation process.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Training in the healthcare field with experience in the operating theatre.
- Committed, autonomous and reliable personality, with a quality working method, motivation and initiative, comfortable in a dynamic environment.
- Enjoys communicating, has organisational skills and the ability to assert themselves.
- Fluent in German or French with very good knowledge of the other language (spoken and written).
