Lawyer (fixed-term for 12 months) 60%The district council is the judicial appellate authority in the area of child and adult protection and the first instance of appeal against decisions of municipal authorities. In addition, the district council supervises the activities of municipal authorities, special-purpose associations, homes, Spitex institutions, and foundations. It consists of the president, who also acts as the governor, and four members, and is administratively and professionally supported by the district council office.
From 1 June 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking to supplement our team with a lawyer on a fixed-term basis for 12 months with a workload of 60%.
Your tasks
- Independent handling of appeal procedures from the entire area of district council activities (mainly child and adult protection law, social assistance law, personnel law, education system, municipal law)
- General collaboration in the district council office
Your profile
- Completed law degree (MLaw / lic. iur.)
- Professional experience in public administration and/or at a court (preferably as a court clerk)
- Independent, efficient, and precise working style
- Confident German language skills and editorial abilities
- Willingness and ability to engage and quickly familiarise yourself with new areas of law
- Team spirit and collegiality
