About the job
The main department for Primary School and Sport includes the Primary School division, the School Psychological Service, and the specialist offices for Special Education, Sport, and Society. It is responsible for all matters concerning primary schools.
We are looking for a
School Psychologist 50–70 %
for the School Psychology division, starting immediately or by arrangement, based in Glarus.
Tasks
- Assessment and evaluation of children and adolescents with school, behavioural, and developmental problems
- Assessment of children and adolescents regarding educational pathway questions
- Facilitation and support of remedial measures and therapies
- Advising parents and teachers on educational and school difficulties
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with various professionals
Requirements
- Degree in Psychology (Licentiate/Master) with relevant further training in school psychology
- Good knowledge in test diagnostic assessment of children and adolescents
- Professional experience in school psychology
- Negotiation skills and assertiveness
- Communicative and committed personality
- Teamwork skills, resilience, and independent working style
