For our client, an experienced installation company from the canton of Lucerne, we are looking for several metal construction assistant fitters and fitters. The company installs façade and metal construction elements for renowned metal construction companies. Due to a good order situation, various assignments are available on construction sites in Lucerne and the neighbouring cantons.

The assignments last between one week and several months depending on the project and your availability. With mutual interest, a long-term assignment or a later permanent position is also possible.

Metal Construction Assistant Fitter 100% - Façade Installation in Lucerne (m/f/d)

As a metal construction assistant fitter, you support the installation team with varied façade and metal construction work.

Your tasks include:
  • Assisting with the installation of façade elements
  • Installing metal construction and aluminium components
  • Supporting the installation of substructures
  • Carrying, positioning, and aligning components
  • Fixing and screwing façade and metal elements
  • Assisting with the installation of windows, doors, and metal constructions
  • Working on lifting platforms, scaffolds, and ladders
  • Preparing tools and installation materials
  • Unloading and providing components on the construction site
  • General auxiliary and installation work
  • Collaborating with experienced metal construction fitters
  • Adhering to safety regulations on the construction site


    • The construction sites are located in the canton of Lucerne and the surrounding regions of Central Switzerland.
    The workload is 100 percent. Work is from Monday to Friday.

    The position is available immediately or by arrangement.


    We expect:
  • Initial experience in metal construction, façade construction, glass construction, or on construction sites is an advantage
  • Career changers with manual skills are also welcome
  • Enjoyment of physical work and installation assignments

  • Mandatory ability to work at heights and no fear of heights
  • Reliable and punctual work ethic
  • Motivation and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Good German skills or good construction site German
  • Residence in the Lucerne region or Central Switzerland
  • Category B driving licence and own car are advantageous
  • Availability for a 100 percent workload, Monday to Friday


    • A carpool can be offered depending on the construction site from Emmenbrücke or Entlebuch.
