About the job
Your Tasks
- In the two-year part-time postgraduate diploma programme to become a Certified Expert in Intensive Care NDS HF with a focus on Paediatrics / Neonatology, you care for complexly ill infants and premature babies from the 23rd week of pregnancy onwards.
- You participate in internal and external retrieval transports with the ambulance, as well as in REGA transports domestically and abroad.
- You appreciate the challenge of dealing with complex and rapidly changing situations and master these with professional skill.
- Teaching and coaching are provided by vocational training and supported by specialists. As a student, you are assigned to the Neonatology department at KSA AG in the first and fourth semesters and to the Intensive Care Unit at the University Children’s Hospital Zurich in the second and third semesters.
- The theoretical education is provided by the educational provider Z-INA (Higher Technical School for Intensive, Emergency and Anaesthesia Care in Zurich).
Your Profile
- You are a certified nursing professional HF/FH or hold a foreign nursing diploma recognised by the SBFI and have at least 6 months of professional experience in acute care.
- You are a committed, open-minded individual who finds changing situations and interdisciplinary collaboration an interesting challenge.
- You possess C1 language proficiency.
