HSE Manager

Mandated by a company in the region with a watchmaking subcontractor, Randstad is looking for a permanent position:

HSE & Infrastructure Projects Manager (M/F/D) between 80% - 100%

Your main tasks:

Health & Safety at Work (HSE)

• Develop, lead and evolve the safety management system (SMS) in accordance with Swiss regulations (CFST, SUVA, OLT).

• Carry out risk analyses, conduct regular on-site audits and ensure compliance follow-up.

• Organise and lead training, awareness and prevention sessions for teams and subcontractors.

• Manage accident reports, analyse root causes and propose sustainable corrective actions.

Infrastructure Project Management

• Oversee safety aspects from the design phase to the commissioning of infrastructure projects.

• Coordinate safety on construction sites and ensure proper application of directives by all parties involved (STPS coordination).

• Participate in the operational and technical management of certain infrastructure projects in support of project managers.

• Act as the main contact with authorities, SUVA and labour inspection bodies.

• Professional experience:

  At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in Switzerland, ideally gained in the fields of construction, civil engineering or industrial infrastructure.

• Education and certifications:

  • Holder of the federal specialist certificate STPS,

  • Basic training in engineering, construction, architecture or an equivalent technical field.

• Technical skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of Swiss labour and safety legislation (CFST / SUVA standards).

  • Proven ability to lead infrastructure projects and manage construction sites in strict compliance with safety instructions.

• Personal qualities:

  Organisational skills, interpersonal ease, natural authority, persuasiveness and autonomy on site.

• Language skills:

  Fluent in French, both spoken and written.
