Your area of responsibility includes the technical support and maintenance of demanding systems. You are responsible for ensuring smooth operation, conducting inspections, and promptly resolving faults. In doing so, you work closely with customers and internal specialist departments. Role:
In this role, you take over the management of application management and ensure that complex application landscapes are operated and further developed reliably, efficiently, and with a future-oriented approach. You are responsible for the professional control and prioritisation of requirements, coordinate internal and external specialists, and ensure the smooth implementation of changes and projects. You analyse existing applications, identify optimisation potentials, and consistently drive standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement. Furthermore, you act as the central contact person for demanding stakeholders, translate professional needs into viable IT solutions, and ensure high service quality in ongoing operations. With your commitment, experience, and structured approach, you significantly shape the further development of business-critical applications.
Responsibilities:
- As head of application management, you take on the central interface function for internal and external contacts in the area of applications.
- You ensure the stable operation, maintenance, and continuous development of business applications.
- In this role, you plan and organise testing and rollouts of new or changed applications.
- You align the application portfolio optimally with business processes and develop it strategically.
- As head of application management, you conduct internal training and support employees with questions about specialised applications.
- You create and maintain meaningful documentation and support the IT Service Desk team as well as various IT projects.
Qualifications:
- You have completed training in computer science with several years of professional experience or a comparable higher qualification.
- You have solid experience in the administration and maintenance of applications.
- You are very familiar with Microsoft Windows Server / Clients as well as Microsoft Cloud.
- You work proactively, systematically, and independently and approach tasks in a structured manner.
- You convince with strong communication and teamwork skills as well as good problem-solving abilities.
- You have very good German and good English skills (French is an advantage) and are willing to travel within Switzerland (driving licence category B).
