About the job
In this diverse job
- from March 2027, you will work for two years in various departments of the CH-Media editorial offices in Central Switzerland (print & online at the Luzerner Zeitung, Zuger Zeitung, Nidwaldner Zeitung, Obwaldner Zeitung and Urner Zeitung)
- you will get to know the entire range of journalistic work and simultaneously complete the journalism diploma course at the MAZ Media Training Centre
- you will explore exciting topics with the help of your curiosity
- you will fully immerse yourself in a region and report in all journalistic forms "digital first"
- you will gain experience in the various departments of the CH-Media editorial offices, at the online desk and, if possible, in a main department
You will succeed here if
- you want to become a journalist and are ready to work towards it with passion and commitment
- you can demonstrate initial journalistic experience, enjoy researching, are creative and have ideas for stories
- you know that journalism is not activism – and that CH Media does journalism
- you approach people openly, think of the readers in your reporting and not your "bubble"
- you have completed education at university / university of applied sciences level or A-level / vocational training and are willing to work at the various locations in the Central Switzerland region
- you have very good German skills and a broad general knowledge and are interested in events in the world, in Switzerland and in your region
