To strengthen our team in the Facility Management area, we are looking for a motivated and committed Project Manager, 100%, at the Basel Headquarters location from 01.09.2026.
Your responsibilities
- You independently manage technical assets as well as a diverse facility management project portfolio throughout the entire lifecycle.
- You act as the client representative for conversion, renovation and infrastructure projects and ensure the achievement of cost, schedule and quality targets.
- You lead strategic and operational projects in the field of building technology and facility management and coordinate internal as well as external project partners.
- You define operator requirements and technical standards and ensure their compliance in all project phases.
- You conduct tenders, evaluate offers and are responsible for awarding services to external service providers.
- You manage planners, specialist partners and executing companies and ensure the successful implementation of projects.
- You analyse the condition of systems and technical assets, assess risks and develop sustainable investment and maintenance strategies.
- You identify optimisation potentials and develop well-founded business cases for investments and technical developments.
- You are responsible for acceptance, commissioning and the smooth handover of systems and projects to operational use.
- You ensure the completeness and currency of project and system documentation.
- You regularly prepare reports on budget, forecast, risks and project progress and ensure transparent communication with relevant stakeholders.
Your profile
- You have a technical education with further training or studies in building technology, facility management, engineering or a comparable field.
- You bring several years of experience in managing technical projects in facility management or in the construction and infrastructure environment.
- You have sound knowledge in the areas of HVACSE, building infrastructure, asset management and lifecycle management.
- You have experience in planning, awarding, managing and accepting technical projects.
- You are familiar with the relevant standards, guidelines and operator requirements and are acquainted with SIA standards.
- You work in a structured manner and have strong skills in project, risk and stakeholder management.
- You convince through entrepreneurial thinking as well as a solution-oriented and independent working style.
- You communicate confidently with different stakeholders and manage to convey complex topics understandably.
- You are proficient in using digital tools and work routinely with MS 365 as well as ERP and CAFM systems.
- You are willing to manage projects and sites within Switzerland and undertake the corresponding travel activities.
- You have very good German skills as well as good English skills; further language skills are an advantage.
