About the job
The Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy Office is responsible for the execution of debt enforcement and bankruptcy proceedings in the canton of Glarus, thereby implementing the compulsory, state-enforced collection of monetary claims in the interest of creditors.
We are looking for a
Bailiff 80–90 %
to start immediately or by arrangement, based in Glarus.
Tasks
- Execution of seizures, retentions and arrest procedures both internally and externally
- Correspondence with creditors, debtors and authorities
- Handling of debt enforcement and seizure requests
- Inventory recordings and lists of goods
- Preparation and management of realisation procedures
Requirements
- Commercial or equivalent training with good basic knowledge of the Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy Act (SchKG)
- Ideally previous experience at a debt enforcement office and preferably knowledge in the execution of seizures
- Confident written expression
- Flexibility, resilience and adaptability
- High social competence, negotiation skills and assertiveness
