The University Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy offers an innovative new treatment service: the Centre for Suicide Prevention (ZfSP). Would you like to be part of this project that is pioneering new approaches in the care of children and adolescents at increased risk of suicide? You have the opportunity to contribute to the further development of the centre. The team was established in July 2023 and additional treatment places have been created. The ZfSP enables continuity of care for children and adolescents at increased risk of suicide: from emergency intervention through inpatient acute treatment to outreach therapy in the patients’ familiar living environment and online aftercare. You and your team accompany patients and their families through all these stages, thus contributing to a long-term effective treatment.
Your tasks
- You take responsibility for the successful coordination of all parties involved in the treatment according to the case management concept
- You work in the interdisciplinary treatment team
- You actively help to develop and shape the new service
- You carry out nursing and educational activities in clinical routine – both inpatient and outreach in the living environment of the patients and their families
- You participate actively in team meetings, interdisciplinary case discussions, family conversations and supervisions
Your profile
- You have a degree in social pedagogy, social work or as a qualified nurse
- Ideally, you have experience in child and adolescent psychiatry and are familiar with systemic work
- You are committed, independent and responsible
- You can provide a clean criminal record (private and special private extract)
- You want to contribute to the establishment of an innovative new service
- You can act responsibly in changing situations and reflect on your own work
- You hold a category B driving licence
