Your mission

Under the responsibility of the Logistics Manager, you will mainly ensure the preparation and organisation of shipments according to production, orders, and defined priorities. You will ensure deadlines are met, the quality of preparations, and the proper traceability of operations.

Your main responsibilities

• Prepare orders and goods intended for shipment.
• Check the conformity of products, references, and quantities before shipment.
• Organise and package goods according to transport requirements and product specificities.
• Label and correctly identify parcels, pallets, and shipping documents.
• Prepare the necessary documents for shipments.
• Organise preparations according to priorities, production, and orders.
• Carry out necessary checks before goods departure.
• Enter and update information in the computer system.
• Ensure traceability of operations and report any anomalies or discrepancies found.
• Participate in loading and unloading goods while respecting safety rules.
• Ensure cleanliness, order, and safety of preparation, storage, and shipping areas.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, sales administration, and transport teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Depending on service needs, occasionally cover for colleagues in various logistics activities, including goods reception, storage, supply preparation, and inventories.
• Respect internal procedures (machine use, safety instructions), deadlines, and safety guidelines.

Your profile

• Training or first experience in logistics, order preparation, or a similar environment.
• Valid forklift licence in Switzerland with reach truck and forklift truck.
• Good proficiency with IT tools (Microsoft Office Suite); knowledge of a general ERP or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a real asset.
• Good understanding of French, both spoken and written.
• Good communicator, able to explain problematic situations and analyse errors in the computer system.
