Senior Designer Toolmaking / Forming Technology
Your Opportunities and Challenges
- Designing new formed parts according to customer requirements in collaboration with various internal departments
- Developing concepts and feasibility assessments (with support from simulation software) as well as accompanying tests and prototype construction
- Evaluating, developing, and designing high-quality and complex stamping-forming tools (for aluminum deep-drawn parts) and further developing existing tool concepts
- Technical leadership of design meetings with involved departments
- Analyzing and optimizing processes as well as actively participating in technical improvements
- Technical consulting and support for innovations in toolmaking
- Creating and revising tool drawings (3D CAD)
Your Competence and Experience
- Technical basic training as well as ongoing or completed further education as a technician HF or mechanical engineer FH
- Experience in the design of stamping tools (preferably deep-drawing tools) desired
- Very good 3D CAD skills
- Independent, goal-oriented, analytical, and careful working style
- Skilled use of MS Office
- Very good German skills and good English skills are an advantage
