Introduction

The city of Adliswil is a dynamic city with a high quality of life that has grown rapidly in recent years. With customer-friendly services, the administration is there for around 20,000 residents.

Youth work in Adliswil - Langnau am Albis focuses on four main areas: youth center, project work, mobile youth work, and support. The focus is on young people who are encouraged in their creativity and personality development, as well as supported in difficult situations. In the two youth centers in Adliswil and Langnau, young people find a space to spend their free time, make contacts, and carry out their own or accompanied projects.

We are looking for a

Pre-intern or Intern Youth Work 60 - 80%

starting November 1, 2026, or by arrangement.

Your tasks

During the six-month to one-year internship, you will be introduced by your practical trainer to all areas of youth work in Adliswil - Langnau am Albis and can help determine and shape your own focus areas according to your interests.

You will be present in the open youth center and actively build relationships with young people (Wednesdays and Fridays). You will participate in the implementation of existing projects, contribute to the development of new offers, and design your own small project. In addition, you will engage in interdisciplinary projects within the department.

Another part of your activity is working in public relations, for example by designing flyers and posters. You regularly attend team meetings and reflection sessions and take on administrative tasks. Furthermore, you will network within the city of Adliswil as well as in the Horgen district and participate in tours and actions of mobile youth work in public spaces.

What we expect from you

You are interested in working with young people, are humorous and at the same time assertive. Ideally, you already have some experience in open youth work or in the leisure sector with young people. Communication skills, creativity, spontaneity, enjoyment of project work, and high social competence complete your profile.
