Environmental Testing Lab Professional
Purpose of the Job
In this role, you will carry out environmental and material tests, document results, and support the smooth operation of our laboratory. As part of our R&D Hardware Development Services team, you will help ensure that our hearing devices meet high standards for quality and reliability This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, follows clear procedures, and wants to contribute to the development of products that make a real difference in people’s lives.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Execute standard materials analyses, accelerated ageing tests, and failure analyses according to established procedures.
- Prepare samples, set up test equipment, and monitor test progress.
- Record and maintain accurate test data and documentation.
- Support lab maintenance tasks (e.g., preparation of standard solutions, equipment cleaning and maintenance).
- Assist engineers in implementing new test methods and troubleshooting issues.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Completed vocational training or equivalent experience in a technical or laboratory-related field.
- Hands-on experience in a laboratory environment is an advantage, but motivated career starters are welcome.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow standard operating procedures accurately.
- Willingness to learn new methods and support continuous improvement.
- English for daily work; German is a plus but not mandatory.
