About the job
The National Roads Department Area VI of the Civil Engineering Office of the Canton of St.Gallen makes a significant contribution to the safety of the national roads in the cantons of Glarus, Thurgau and St.Gallen with its maintenance work. For this purpose, the area unit has four depots in Thal, Mels, Biäsche and Oberbüren as well as two bases in St.Gallen and Müllheim.

What distinguishes you
- Completed vocational training in construction, forestry or as a gardener
- Team-oriented, independent and reliable personality
- Willingness for on-call duty and night work
- Enjoyment of all road maintenance and winter service tasks
- Driving licence category C (ideally category CE) or willingness to obtain it
- Accessibility of the base within 20 minutes
