Green is good. Especially when it creates safe and reliable tram connections for Basel. In the rail construction of BVB, Benjamin and his team ensure day and night that our infrastructure keeps moving. As a Group Leader Rail Construction, you take responsibility on the construction site, lead your team with foresight, and ensure that track construction work is carried out safely, on time, and with high quality.

• You lead your team on the construction site and coordinate employees, machines, materials, and subcontractors
• You plan and organise track construction, maintenance, and repair work in the BVB tram network
• You ensure compliance with safety, quality, and deadline requirements while always acting economically
• You coordinate the work with the control centre, construction management, and other internal and external partners
• You document construction progress, keep reports, and ensure correct performance recording and order booking

• Completed vocational training in the main construction trade, preferably civil engineering, supplemented by foreman or site manager training
• Several years of professional experience in track, civil, or rail construction as well as experience in leading employees
• Sound knowledge of construction site organisation, occupational safety, quality assurance, and construction processes
• High resilience, assertiveness, as well as a structured and solution-oriented working style
• Willingness for night, weekend, and on-call duties as well as enjoyment of working in a dynamic rail environment
