Trusted Physician, 80–100 %
What to expect
- The focus is on insured persons who require an indicated and recognised treatment/measure. You advise the claims department, insurance technology, and, if necessary, other areas of health and life insurance on medical questions and remuneration issues, and mediate between health insurance, service providers, insured persons, and institutions (e.g. BAG).
- You prepare insurance medical reports in the area of compulsory health insurance (KVG) and supplementary insurance (VVG).
- You are interested in new developments in medicine and can form an opinion on the effectiveness, appropriateness, and cost-effectiveness of these developments/applications based on studies/literature/further training.
- You actively participate in the design and improvement of work processes and collaboration in the VAD.
What you bring
- You have a specialist title in internal medicine or a close relation to internal medicine (e.g. oncology) and preferably have insurance experience in the area of KVG/VVG or UVG, IVG.
- You hold the qualification of trusted physician SGV or are willing to acquire it promptly.
- You are familiar with English and French and can conduct a conversation in French.
- Carefulness, accuracy, and high concentration are essential characteristics of your working style.
- You enjoy working in a team consisting of pharmacists, trusted physicians, specialists, and assistants.
- In the longer term, a team leadership and/or deputy role would also be conceivable for you.
- You have an interest in political trends and the resulting legal and insurance medical consequences.
