For our client, a regionally well-established and future-oriented transport company in the Upper Engadin, we are looking to strengthen the workshop team with a motivated individual as:
Mechanic with Development Potential (m/f)
Work on state-of-the-art vehicle technology and develop step by step to become the deputy workshop manager.
Your interesting area of responsibility includes, among others:
- Independent maintenance, repair and servicing work on modern city and coach buses
- Diagnosis and rectification of mechanical, pneumatic and electrical faults
- Work on engines, drivetrains, braking systems and other vehicle systems
- Carrying out service and maintenance work to ensure vehicle availability
- Analysis of technical faults and development of sustainable solutions
- Reading and interpreting electrical and pneumatic schematics
- Participation in technical modifications, conversions and optimisations
- Support in commissioning and technical inspection of vehicles
- Documentation of completed work and professional reporting
- Close cooperation with an experienced and well-coordinated workshop team
For this position you bring the following profile:
- Completed training as a mechanic or in a comparable technical profession
- Enthusiasm for engines, commercial vehicles and modern vehicle technology
- Good technical understanding as well as pronounced manual skills
- Independent, reliable and solution-oriented working style
- Good German language skills, both spoken and written
- Willingness to continuously familiarise yourself with new technologies and vehicle systems
- Team spirit and enjoyment of a varied working day
- Driving licence category C or willingness to obtain it
