Job Description
As an employee in chemical bulk production, you monitor and control the on-site plants and via process control systems to fulfil the production order qualitatively and quantitatively. Through your work, you contribute to ensuring high safety standards, compliance, high product quality, and efficient production.
Your tasks:
- Responsibility for the safe operation of production plants
- Optimisation of processes and implementation of corrective measures
- Sampling and analysis of IPC and final samples using standard laboratory equipment
- Conducting inspection rounds
- Assisting with revisions and undertaking manual tasks
- Execution of safety, maintenance, and inspection orders
- Keeping various logs
- Independent start-up and shutdown of production plants
- Compliance with all safety regulations and work instructions
Qualifications
- Degree as a chemical or pharmaceutical technologist or equivalent diploma with experience in chemical and pharmaceutical production
- Independent execution of required tasks at a professional level as an experienced production employee
- Independent performance of sampling and standard analyses (e.g. LC, GC, titration, pH value) in the laboratory area
- Ability to execute and verify work procedures and manufacturing specifications using complex equipment, techniques, and methods
- Ability to maintain an overview of ongoing production and upcoming tasks even under stress
- Willingness to work shifts (6/4 shift model)
- Interest in joining the plant fire brigade (IFRB)
- Fluent German skills in spoken and written form. Basic knowledge of English is desirable
