- Responsible for preparing tasty dishes for our residents, staff, and guests
- Independent work organisation in the hot and cold kitchen
- Ensuring compliance with all hygiene regulations
- Ordering all food supplies and collaborating with suppliers
- Carrying out various cleaning tasks to ensure a clean and tidy kitchen
- Contributing to the daily life of the residents
- Plating menus for our residents
- Maintaining close and friendly customer contact with our residents, staff, and guests
- Completed training as a Cook EFZ
- Several years of professional experience, preferably in residential or hospital catering
- Experience in dietary cooking and with the cook-and-chill method is an advantage
- Reliable and resilient

The KZU, with its two in-house day care centres, operates two care centres in Bassersdorf and Embrach as well as three care apartments in Nürensdorf and Winkel. It primarily offers a home to older, care-dependent people and, alongside various specialised services, a wide range of outpatient services. The KZU employs around 600 staff, including 75 apprentices and students in 17 different professional groups.
