Versatile Guides (hourly)

Would you like to join the tourist site of the Bex Salt Mines? An integral part of the Swiss Saltworks, the Mines welcome around 80,000 visitors each year. From spring 2026, the Bex Salt Mines will be integrated into the "Salina Helvetica" tourist brand and visitors will be able to discover a completely redesigned circuit inside the mine.

To strengthen our team of guides, we are looking for several:

High tourist season July and August (80 to 100%)

Medium and low tourist season (30 to 60%)

Our goal: for our visitors to have an exciting time with us and to leave satisfied and enthusiastic. With friendliness, humour and competence, you guide and animate your group of visitors through the fascinating Mines. You bring to life the thrilling history behind the Salt of the Alps. We offer you a captivating, varied job in direct contact with customers! The daily routine is diverse and includes preparing the trains, setting up the site and, depending on the season, various maintenance tasks inside the Mine and outdoors.

Your tasks

Take charge of and guide visitors to ensure them a unique experience

• Ensure the smooth running, content compliance and timing of the visits
• Ensure the general welcome and safety of visitors
• Operate the trains, conduct guided tours
• Promote the Shop: sales, restocking and product promotion
• Carry out various daily tasks related to the guided tours service

Your profile

• Good physical condition and quick-wittedness
• Motivation and willingness to work two or more weekends per month and during school holidays
• Language skills: French C1 / at least one other language: German, English, Italian
• Cheerful personality with a positive, flexible, enthusiastic spirit
• Easy contact and ability to earn respect diplomatically from all types of clientele
• Experience desired in tourism, animation, leisure or entertainment sectors.
