On behalf of the client, we are looking for a technically skilled professional for the automation and control sector in mechanical engineering. You will work on demanding machines and systems and take on tasks from electrical assembly and wiring to commissioning. You will apply your expertise in control, drive and automation technology and contribute to the reliable functioning of the machines. The position offers a versatile technical environment with direct reference to industrial manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
Assembly, wiring and installation of electrical controls and machine components
Assembly and commissioning of machines and automated systems
Reading and implementing electrical schematics, circuit diagrams and technical drawings
Conducting functional tests, measurements and electrical inspections
Analysis and troubleshooting of faults in machines and control systems
Support in retrofit, conversion and optimisation projects
Parameterisation and testing of drives, sensors and control components
Participation in the technical optimisation of machine processes
Creation and maintenance of test and system documentation
Collaboration with design, mechanics, software development and production
Qualifications:
Completed training as an Automation Technician EFZ or comparable electrical engineering qualification
Professional experience in mechanical engineering, plant engineering or industrial automation
Solid knowledge in control and automation technology
Experience in reading electrical schematics as well as wiring and measurement technology
Knowledge of PLC, drive technology and sensor technology
Very good German language skills
