Role:
Our client is an internationally oriented Swiss technology company focusing on demanding industrial components and innovative manufacturing solutions. In this key position, you will successfully bring new products into series production and optimise existing solutions in terms of cost, manufacturability, and quality. You will connect engineering, production, and supply chain with a clear design-to-cost focus.
Responsibilities:
Industrialising new products to series maturity
Optimising products according to design-to-cost principles
Further developing manufacturing, assembly, and testing processes
Evaluating new manufacturing technologies and suppliers
Identifying cost and optimisation potentials
Ensuring clean technical and ERP master data
Qualifications:
Degree in mechanical engineering, production engineering, or equivalent
Many years of experience in industrialisation and design-to-cost
Solid understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes
Strong analytical and economic mindset
Experience collaborating with engineering, production, and purchasing
Initiative, assertiveness, and entrepreneurial thinking
