The EOC, the multi-site hospital of Ticino, is present with its institutes throughout the entire cantonal territory for a total of 1,000 beds. To complete our Cardiology team at the Cardiocentro Ticino Institute in Lugano, we are looking for, for the years 2028-2029, a
Cardiology Assistant Physician - Clinical Area (100%)
Profile:
The person we are looking for has an interest in cardiology and acute care in general. They have a dynamic and proactive personality. They have a positive, enthusiastic and flexible attitude. Furthermore, they demonstrate solid organisational and interpersonal skills, attention to others and good stress management abilities.
They believe, as we do, in the importance of placing the patient and their family at the centre of all our attention.
The year is configured in general cardiology activity and fits into the specialist pathway in general internal medicine or other recognised disciplines. Also valid for the cardiology pathway.
Necessary requirements:
- degree/diploma in medicine. For doctors with foreign qualifications, recognition by the Federal Commission for Medical Professions MEBEKO and registration with MedReg (https://www.medregom.admin.ch) are mandatory before starting the activity;
- proven and recognised professional experience (minimum one year of internal medicine) in an acute service in Switzerland.
- proven knowledge of the Italian language (required level at least B2), desirable knowledge of another national language and English with registration with MedReg (https://www.medregom.admin.ch) before starting the activity;
- strong interpersonal and teamwork skills;
- high proficiency in IT tools.
