Vigier Cement has been manufacturing cement in the Reuchenette gorge, near Biel, since 1896. With a production of around 900,000 tonnes per year, we are among the leading cement manufacturers in Switzerland. • Carry out checks related to cement production: during manufacturing, finished products, fuels, according to quality assurance procedures and safety rules
• Analyse the results obtained and monitor the recording process
• Transmit the necessary information to the responsible parties
• Manage non-conformities and propose corrective measures according to procedures
• Ensure the efficiency of control equipment through proper maintenance and use
• Participate in the on-call duty rota

What you bringexpand_more

• Holder of a laboratory technician federal certificate of competence (CFC) or equivalent training
• Experience in the industrial sector, preferably in quality control
• Comfortable with computer tools (Microsoft Office, especially Excel)
• Proactive and flexible, with a strong team spirit
• Autonomous, in good physical condition
• Native French speaker, basic knowledge of German would be an asset
• Native German speaker, very good knowledge of French
• Preferably residing in the region (on-call duty)
