Clerk Technical Information 80 - 100%At the Road Traffic Office of the Canton of Zurich, around 460 employees work at nine locations. Our task is traffic safety in the Canton of Zurich. We are responsible for the registration and inspection of vehicles and ships, for driving tests, for administrative measures, and for collecting traffic fees. For our Technical Information department at the Zurich-Albisgütli location, we are looking for a clerk from 1 February 2027 or by arrangement.
Your tasks
- Clarify and answer enquiries about legal regulations and technical requirements by telephone, email, and at the counter
- Check vehicle documents and technical documentation
- Adjust vehicle registration certificates and carry out various administrative tasks
What you bring
- Completed technical training in the vehicle trade (automotive specialist or similar)
- Professional customer service by telephone, counter, and email
- Good user knowledge of the MS Office suite and willingness to learn new applications
- Confident German language skills in spoken and written form, foreign language skills are an advantage
