Role:
As a Technical Editor in mechanical engineering, you are responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation and manuals.
Your tasks include:
Responsibilities:
- Writing operating instructions, maintenance manuals, and technical documentation for our machines and systems
- Collaborating with engineers and technicians to gather technical information
- Creating illustrations and graphics to support the documentation
- Ensuring that the documentation complies with applicable standards and regulations
- Updating and maintaining the documentation to ensure it is always up to date
Qualifications:
- Completed studies in mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
- Experience in technical editing in mechanical engineering or a similar industry
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Knowledge of editorial and graphic software
- Teamwork skills and the ability to present complex technical information clearly and understandably
- German and English language skills, both written and spoken
