The Office for Civil Status and Naturalisation ZEiA fulfils the statutory tasks in the area of civil status and naturalisations. This includes, among other things, applications for the preparation of a marriage, family or first name changes, adoption procedures, declarations of recognition as well as naturalisation applications. The main tasks in the area of naturalisation are the preparation of naturalisation files for the municipalities, the cantonal and federal authorities as well as the implementation of all related investigative measures.

Your tasks
The naturalisation investigator is responsible for processing naturalisation applications and checking whether the legal requirements are met. The tasks include in particular:
- Analysis of naturalisation dossiers
- Verification of residence requirements and integration
- Conducting interviews with applicants
- Writing investigation or clarification reports
- Cooperation and support with municipal, cantonal and federal authorities
Desired profile
- Tertiary education (commercial basic training with professional certificate, CAS, FH/HES) in the administrative field or equivalent training
- Interest in integration issues as well as the particularities of the Canton of Fribourg and Switzerland
- Ability to conduct naturalisation interviews
- Strong listening, communication and organisational skills
- Good analytical and editorial skills
- Swiss citizenship
- Excellent German skills as well as very good French skills in spoken and written form
