After-school Care Animator at 60%

within the Department of Childhood, Schools and Social Cohesion, After-school Care Sector

Your responsibilities

• Provide professional supervision of children outside school hours and during school holidays
• Plan, organise and manage children’s activities
• Ensure the well-being and safety of the children
• Contribute to the smooth running and proper maintenance of the care facilities
• Collaborate with parents and the professional network
• Participate in the development of the Sector through working groups and innovative projects

Your profile

• Vocational training (CFC level) in the educational or pedagogical field or equivalent qualification
• Proven professional experience in caring for children aged 4 to 12 years
• Sense of responsibility, ability to work independently and as part of a team, reflective skills, stress resistance and empathy
• Confidence in communication and handling criticism and conflicts
• Fluency in French, ideally with very good knowledge of German
• Proficiency in common computer tools
