The Kartause Ittingen is one of the leading seminar and cultural centers in Switzerland. Our guests have access to a hotel with 68 rooms, a restaurant and banquet area with around 1,000 seats, and 22 seminar rooms with up to 450 seats. Chef de Partie (a) 100%
This challenge is what you are looking for:
You are part of a kitchen team of around 25 people
You take responsibility for the Saucier or Entremetier position
Passing on your knowledge to our apprentices
You actively participate in the design and preparation of a high-quality and varied culinary offering
As a passionate cook, you enjoy processing and integrating many products from our own production – from the estate, from our own butcher, cheese dairy, garden, and fish farm
If interested, there is the possibility to gain experience in other areas, such as in the cheese dairy, butcher, or garden
This is what you bring:
Training as a chef EFZ
Professional experience in à la carte cuisine, preferably in a similar position
Joy in fresh products (no convenience food)
Good professional and social skills
Team player with a sense of responsibility
Clean, efficient, and independent working style
Organizational talent, assertiveness, and flexibility
