We are an established IT service company in Aarau supporting SMEs in the areas of Modern Workplace, Cloud, Infrastructure, Cyber Security and Managed Services. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed individual who combines technical expertise with entrepreneurial thinking.

As a Senior System Engineer, you will not only take technical responsibility for demanding IT solutions but also lead projects, advise our customers on an equal footing and actively support acquisition.

Your role

• You plan, implement and operate modern IT solutions for SMEs in a motivated, experienced team.
• You manage Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, network, security and backup environments.
• You take on demanding 2nd-/3rd-level tasks and actively advance customer environments.
• You lead projects from analysis to successful implementation.
• You identify customer needs, develop solutions and support offers, presentations and acquisition.

Your profile

• Federal VET Diploma in IT, specialising in platform development or system technology; higher technical college/university of applied sciences advantageous or willingness to obtain.
• Several years of experience as a System Engineer in an SME environment.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, virtualisation, network, security and backup/recovery.
• Enjoyment of customer contact, confident manner and clear communication.
• Independent, solution-oriented working style with entrepreneurial thinking.
• Experience in project management or motivation to take on this responsibility.
• Willingness for on-call duty.
• Certifications from Microsoft, Fortinet, Veeam or VMware are a plus.
