Your new role

In this versatile position, you accompany our pupils within the framework of everyday school life. You coach and support the young people individually in their current life situation, jointly develop viable follow-up solutions, and promote their educational, professional, and personal prospects. Your duties also include co-designing afternoon activities inside and outside the school, supporting teachers in challenging situations during the school day, as well as assisting in lesson development to create a stress-reducing learning environment, including the establishment of accompanying internal internships and workshops. Case-related collaboration with parents, teachers, authorities, and external specialist agencies, as well as support in unforeseen emergencies, also fall within your area of responsibility.

Preferred presence days are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

This position is for you if you

• have completed training in social pedagogy, social work, or psychiatric nursing, or possess comparable qualifications.
• have gained solid practical experience in systemic solution-oriented work and enjoy working with young people in challenging dynamics.
• are a communicative, cooperative, and constructive personality distinguished by high social competence.
• possess strong teamwork skills and demonstrate humour, composure, and patience in everyday life.

The School and Music Department manages the municipal schools as well as the offerings of the music school and day care. It ensures successful cooperation among all parties involved and places the child’s welfare at the centre of attention. The secondary school Timeout School is a proven support offering. The multidisciplinary team supports and accompanies pupils in challenging life situations over a limited period.
