About the job
Specialist in Medications 80-100% (m/f/d): Do you want to apply your pharmaceutical expertise so that it ultimately reaches exactly where it has the greatest impact – namely with the patients?
Meaningful work and growing together
You make a crucial contribution to ensuring that patients have access to important medications even in complex therapies, while keeping the healthcare system affordable.
Your daily commitment relieves the supply system and ensures fair, comprehensible decisions in special cases.
At our partner organisation, you will find a well-coordinated, collegial team that relies on mutual support and actively lives a healthy work-life balance.
You will be offered flexible working time models including home office as well as space to develop professionally and personally.
Your tasks with our client
- You review complex cost approval requests for medicines on a case-by-case basis (Art. 71a-d KVV) as well as for medicines with an existing price model – in close cooperation with the trusted medical service.
- You conduct negotiations with pharmaceutical companies regarding pricing and discount granting for medicines used outside Swissmedic approval or the limitation of the specialty list and reimbursed from basic insurance (Art. 71a-d KVV).
- You write well-founded and comprehensible justifications for your decisions and thus support our clients.
- You are the central contact person internally and externally for all questions concerning medications in the area of Article 71a-d KVV and price models.
What you bring
A medical or paramedical basic education combined with solid specialist knowledge in the pharmaceutical field.
Experience in claims management of a health insurer and ideally commercial or insurance-related further training.
Strong analytical thinking, negotiation skills and reliability in decisions.
Fluent German skills in spoken and written form; additional languages such as French or English are a plus.
Diplomas from the EU/EFTA area are warmly welcomed, provided the SRK recognition is available or the process is already underway.
As a specialised personnel service provider, we connect motivated professionals with healthcare institutions that offer a appreciative environment. We accompany you throughout the entire process and ensure that you can optimally apply your strengths from day one.
