What you can contribute

• Check the technical condition and proper functioning of vehicles, trailers and/or stored equipment
• Independently manage vehicle stocks and logistics in accordance with current regulations
• Actively participate in deliveries and returns of troop systems and general equipment
• Independently process orders and work orders using the SAP IT management system
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions

What makes you unique

• Federal VET Diploma in Logistics or equivalent qualification
• Good IT knowledge, especially of the SAP management system
• Driving licence categories B, BE, C, CE, F; possession of a forklift licence is an advantage
• Ability and enjoyment in taking responsibility, team spirit and ease in contact with colleagues and military personnel
• Flexibility with sometimes irregular hours and/or travel, occasionally on weekends
• Knowledge of at least one additional official language

The Army Logistics Base (BLA) is there for the troops. With some 3500 employees and 12000 militia soldiers, it provides all logistical services for the Swiss Army and manages its equipment, systems and infrastructure.
