The night watch team is cross-clinic responsible for the nursing care of patients at night. It specifically supports the ward night watches of the acute psychiatric wards of the Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (KPP), the psychiatric emergency and crisis intervention ward (ZINK), as well as the Clinic for Consultation, Geriatric and Neuropsychiatry (KAN) with defined tasks. The night watch team covers various treatment focuses, such as emergency admissions and emergency situations. The night watch team significantly contributes to ensuring contemporary nursing quality at night.

Profile

• You have practical experience as a qualified nurse HF/FH in acute psychiatry as well as somatic knowledge
• You are an enthusiastic professional with high professional, social and self-competence
• You have a resource- and solution-oriented understanding of nursing
• You are flexible, committed and a responsible personality with joy in demanding patient care in a lively environment
• You speak and write fluent German and have a confident command of common Office applications

Tasks

• You complement the nursing team with psychiatric, medical and nursing expertise for the treatment of acutely mentally ill people
• Rapid relationship building with patients and a proactive attitude to achieve a high-quality service
• Advising mentally ill persons, relatives, caregivers and referrers as well as mediating suitable contact points
• Together with the night team, you accompany admissions and transfers during the night
• You take on night responsibility in the absence of the management
