In the Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy (Clinic Director Dr med Angelo Bernardon), children and adolescents up to the age of 18 are treated. The integrated treatment offer of the clinic includes an outpatient area with a central outpatient clinic as well as four outpatient clinics distributed across the canton, a consultation and liaison service, and an inpatient area with an acute ward, two psychotherapy wards, a day clinic and a clinic school. The teams consist of clinical professionals from the fields of medicine, psychology, nursing and social pedagogy, and in the clinic school, teachers and special needs educators. The Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy is a teaching hospital of the University of Zurich and a certified training centre Category A.

Profile

• You have a qualification as a psychomotor therapist recognised in Switzerland
• You have knowledge of child and adolescent psychiatry and experience with mental disorders
• Strong social skills in dealing with mentally ill children and adolescents
• Ability to think and act in a networked, conceptual and innovative way
• You work independently, in a structured manner and are characterised by flexibility, teamwork and resilience

Tasks

• You independently carry out psychomotor assessments
• You independently develop individual therapy goals within the overall treatment plan
• You are responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating psychomotor individual and group therapies
• You participate in interprofessional collaboration, including participation in patient-related case discussions, reports, team meetings and internal training
• You create professionally sound documentation
