What you can achieve
- Deputising and supporting the Cantonal Medical Officer
- Enforcement of relevant laws and regulations (EpG, BetmG, GesG, KVG, among others)
- Professional advice in securing outpatient and inpatient medical care
- Participation in projects of the cantonal medical service
- Representation of the Cantonal Medical Service in expert committees and working groups
What distinguishes you
- Completed medical studies with further training title, preferably in Public Health, Preventive Medicine or a relevant specialty and/or
- Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH) or strong interest in Public Health topics
- Several years of practical experience as a physician
- Sound knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system as well as relevant legislation and its implementation
- Understanding and interest in medical, health economic, legal and political issues
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
- High social competence as well as ability to collaborate interdisciplinarily with different stakeholders
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
