Take on the professional leadership of a committed nursing team of around 40 employees in our neurological ward, which combines acute care and rehabilitation for people with stroke, Parkinson’s, epilepsy, cerebral haemorrhages and traumatic brain injury. In this key position, you will shape the professional and organisational development of the department in shared leadership together with the department management. As part of the nursing expertise team in the house, which professionally leads the various departments, you will benefit from regular collegial exchange with professionals in the same or similar roles. This way, you combine professional responsibility with genuine team support and actively shape neurological nursing.
Your tasks
Professional leadership and further development of the nursing team of around 40 people
Ensuring evidence-based, patient-centred care in the acute and rehabilitation phases
Coaching and supporting employees in their professional and personal development
Advising the team on complex nursing situations, also directly at the patient’s bedside
Participation and representation of nursing in interprofessional case discussions and committees
Further development of specialised treatment pathways and nursing standards
Participation in cross-departmental and hospital-wide projects and quality initiatives
Regular professional exchange with nursing experts from other departments

Your profile
Completed MSc or PhD
Several years of experience as a nursing expert
Communicative and integrative personality, initiative, cooperative and reflective working style, pedagogical and advisory skills, leadership abilities and high social competence

Teamwork, communication skills, customer orientation and business acumen
