What you can look forward to.
In the System Team Trasse, you are responsible for the delivery pipeline and platform architecture for a highly critical Rail Control System, thereby making a direct contribution to safe and reliable railway operations. You work as an enabler for agile development teams so that they can use infrastructure and software efficiently, securely, and autonomously, and you drive continuous integration, testing, and delivery with modern GitOps approaches. You can expect an environment with a lot of responsibility, short decision-making paths, and the opportunity to scale development, integration, and production environments further.

What you can achieve.

• As a member of the System Team, you maintain and expand the toolchain with Bitbucket, Artifactory, Jenkins, and Docker to ensure smooth collaboration between development and operations.
• With AWS and TypeScript, you develop Infrastructure as Code with CDK and implement powerful Lambdas.
• You provide a release deployment pipeline that enables fully automated auditing, thereby increasing security and traceability.
• With continuous updates without downtime, you ensure availability and use Auto Scaling groups in AWS for this purpose.
• Together with the agile teams, you support and advise on GitOps practices and create the conditions for efficient, secure, and autonomous delivery processes.
• Occasionally, you take on on-call duty and ensure quick and effective interventions when needed.

What you bring with you.

• Team spirit and communication skills characterise you, and you enjoy working in Scrum and Kanban teams as well as with remote teams.
• You bring a service-oriented attitude, calmness under pressure, and a strong sense of responsibility and quality awareness to your daily work.
• Analytical and solution-oriented thinking as well as independent action help you quickly understand complex issues and implement effective solutions.
• You apply confident use of Git including branching concepts and pull requests, very good knowledge of shell scripting, and the ability to do software engineering with TypeScript.
• You have good cloud knowledge and many years of experience with AWS including EC2 and VPC architectures, and practical experience with Prometheus and Grafana rounds off your profile.
• Experience with Docker and Compose is an advantage, and you create images and understand the architecture of the container environment.
